Class Description:

Arguably some of the trickier makeup applications to master, creating character looks and applying prosthetics and facial hair require finessing and attention to detail in order to look believable. This is a hands-on class which will focus on giving students the opportunity to practice the correct way to create character looks, as well as how to handle and apply prosthetics and facial hair, while receiving personalized feedback and tips along each step of the way. A model will be provided, or if you would like to bring a friend to use as your model, please let us know at the time of registration. Class is open to students of all experience levels, but is recommended for those who already have some basic stage makeup training.

Requirements:

A complete basic stage makeup kit is required for this course. You may bring your own (a list of contents can be found below), or you may purchase one for $19.67, including sales tax, in addition to the class fee. You are also welcome to bring any prosthetics or facial hair pieces you own that you may want to play with.
