Class Description:

Discover how to create a basic makeup application, and then how to alter it to create the appearance of varying age ranges. This is a hands-on class which will focus on giving students the opportunity to practice applying makeup on themselves, while receiving personalized feedback and tips along each step of the way. Class is open to students of all experience levels, in high school, college, and beyond!

Requirements:

A complete basic stage makeup kit is required for this course. You may bring your own (a list of contents can be found below), or you may purchase one for $19.67, including sales tax, in addition to the class fee.

Contents of a complete basic stage makeup kit:

• Foundation in a shade that matches your skin tone
• Translucent setting powder
• Contouring products (highlight and shadow)
• Eyeliner/eyebrow pencil
• Blush
• Lip color
• Tools: foundation sponge(s), powder brush and/or sponge, 1 brush each for highlight and shadow, 1 blush brush
• Optional: makeup wipes/remover, facial tissues, a cover-up to protect clothing, q-tips
